Granada
This is a very interesting fact about Granada! Are you ready for it? Granada means pomegranate in Spanish! You are probably wondering why it is called that well they call it that because there are lots of pomegranates in Spain and especially in Granada! Their flag has a pomegranate on it and on most lamp posts and other posts will have a tiny pomegranate engraved in them!

Today I wanted to talk about graffiti. There’s this famous graffiti artist, from Granada. His name is el Niño de las pinturas. His graffiti is beautiful. For one painting he swam in a pool to do the outside, it’s very vibrant. Everywhere you look, there is graffiti in this city!
Right beside my house there’s some graffiti that looks like a bug.
I love that you can express your feelings in graffiti! I see so many names in graffiti. I think they want people to know their names and be noticed.
I saw this painting and I wanted to talk about it. It is a girl with tape over her mouth, with a smile painted over the tape. I think what the artist was trying to say was that girls have to be quiet and put a smile on, and I disagree.

I am going to Spain. I am so nervous. I am in the plane, NOW - It’s SO crazy - and flying overnight is the best sleep ever, “totally.” …I only got one hour of sleep. It was terrible. But after the flight we got a day hotel in London and I got an extra two hours of sleep. Then it was back to the plane to go to Spain! Excited and scared. Woohoo! …and then I’m home. I’m gonna love this place.
Right when I got out of the airport the air SMELLED LIKE POPCORN. I’m gonna love this place.

Travelling is so hard. I do not know how you can sleep on a plane. It is so uncomfortable.
P.S. I laid on my mom the whole entire time. I think I was more comfortable than my mom. When I got off of the plane it smelled weird. But after a while, it just smelled like home.

Elliott: Today was the day of goodbyes.
I had to say goodbye to my dog, Izzy, my friends and family. I am sad but excited, scared but ready for adventure. I want to stay but I am looking forward to seeing what is coming next!!!
Madi: Today is the day I give my farewells. I’m saying goodbye to my dog, Izzy, all of my friends, and family, except my parents, and my sisters. I am leaving everyone I know and love. I gave my dog, Izzy her last walk. I took her to the pond. It’s hard to say goodbye, but there’s an adventure ready and waiting to be found.
One last goodbye, the hardest goodbye, at the airport, saying goodbye to a friend I have known all my life. …bye Wrenny.
